Modern American Comfort Food
Eat Restaurant Partners is happy to announce EXCITING change coming to the Grove Avenue Corridor. In January 2017 EAT Restaurant Partners will be transitioning 5710 Grove Avenue back to its Chinese roots. This Asian concept will be a fresh, modern and upbeat version of its original antecedent, The Peking On Grove (Open from 1977 – 2009 and affiliated with the Tsui family). Westhampton and its surrounding neighborhoods will once have access to authentic and delicious Chinese food while still enjoying the high energy and chic bar scene that we have all come to love about the Blue Goat. You can also still expect the same stellar service and attention to detail that you have come to rely on during your visits to The Blue Goat. Also, if you are sad to see Chef Paul’s mouthwatering dishes go away do not fret! Chef Paul Kostandin’ star is on the rise and he has BIG plans for the near future. In the meantime he is still all about bringing outstanding Modern American comfort food to RVA through the New Year. So won’t you please join us in these last few months and we can all say goodbye to our beloved Blue Goat and then together we can usher in a new culinary experience on the Libby Grove Corridor!
Featuring delicious approachable dishes created from scratch, sourced locally when possible. Our Chef, Paul Kostandin, brings together the essence of traditional comfort food with a rustic flair. Chef Paul interprets the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins with the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and enjoy modern american comfort cuisine.
Laid-back, eclectic and unpretentious, at The Blue Goat we make our guests feel at home from the moment they walk in the door. To enhance the experience we offer a selection of wines from around the world with a focus on small producers, a rotating list of craft beers with a celebration of local Richmond breweries and a list of fun cocktails created by our bartenders. With a little something for everyone our staff is always happy to help create the perfect dining experience for every guest that joins us. Exposed Brick, soft lighting and an unexpected quirkiness encourage guests to settle in, get comfortable, and have a great time.
